BLOCKQUARRY mining operations are brought to completion in 40-foot ISO modular containers called BLOQPOD DATA CENTERS. These structures are custom-made to accommodate over 1MW of crypto-mining power.

 

The BLOQPOD are our custom-made cryptocurrency data mining centers. This top-of-the-line powerful technology is built onto high resistance steel resulting in a strong structure suited for harsh environments at a low cost and fast buildout.

  • THE ENGINEERING OF BLOQPODs

    The layout, engineering, and fabrication of BLOQPODs is critical to provide the most efficient environment for the crypto mining hardware. Our BLOQPODs are designed for positive pressure, and cool air flow with no hot spots. This design meets the requirements of extracting the air through the crypto mining hardware so as not to recycle that same hot air. Some of our improvements includes a barrier that prevents hot air from mixing with the fresh air intake by using custom fabricated insulation sheets, keeping the hot air out and the fresh air flowing in.

     

    All electrical equipment utilized in the manufacture of BLOQPODs consist of American made, UL listed and certified components. With our direct relationship with several industrial suppliers, we have access to the finest electrical components providing the properly sized gear for the ampacity needed. We use standard electrical panels and breaker grade NEMA manufactured by General Electric.

    BLOQPOD modular data centers utilize a pressurized fresh air flow that brings enough CFM to keep the crypto mining hardware operating at its peak. The BLOQPOD comes with 4 industrial heavy-duty direct drive exhaust fans. Greater efficiency is the biggest advantage of direct drive fan configurations. Unlike belt driven fans, there is less energy loss because there is a reduced amount of drive friction as the fan operates. There is also no belt residue and these fans cost less to maintain. Additionally, they are easier to clean and produce less noise.

     

    We use variable-frequency drives (VFD) to control the operation and speed of our cooling system. The CFM and pressure are controlled and constantly measured. With this process the total input of air can be controlled to regulate the internal temperature of each crypto miner. The input CFM for each exhaust fan can be adjusted higher or lower to adapt for future new hardware configuration.

    BLOQ PARKS are the most modern data center available on the market today. These facilities are technically equipped to mine Bitcoin or any other cryptocurrencies. BLOQ PARKS are the backbone of the entire BLOCKQUARRY Bitcoin mining operation.

     

    BLOQ PARKS are exclusively designed and built by BIT5IVE, our infrastructure partner responsible for keeping our technology ahead of the curve without increasing the operational cost. Part of our challenges are to tackle common issues in this sector and find solutions while becoming one of the key players in the development of next-level data centers.

     

    Currently we run mining operations in PENNSYLVANIA and new facilities are under development in the southern United States; all of them operated with clean and renewable energy. Our goal is to lower the cost of power to clients, and to provide hosting and colocation services to various growing industries such as cryptocurrency mining and gaming.

     

    BLOQ PARKS new mining operations will be home to more than 200 BLOQPODs, which means 56,000 mining rigs or 200MW.

    ASIC Chip Development: The company is in the process of developing its own ASIC Chips and will then enter the market as suppliers of cryptocurrency mining equipment with its own branded technologies.


    Data Center Technology Immersion Cooling: The research and development to lower maintenance and costs regarding data center infrastructure will dive further into new emerging technologies such as immersion cooling.
